Heaven's Light...

Born in the shining kingdom of Heaven one would think that Del would have had everything she wanted but she wanted more. She wanted it all. From a very young age she was an ambitious girl striving to be better than the best. She wanted to be so good that her father couldn't help but notice her. Her mother and step father were lower class angels. However, they were happy together they didn't strive to be more. They didn't care if they were considered lesser. The only strike on their lives was her mother's oldest daughter Delphina.

According to her mother her real father was an archangel of some renown. A man who had decided he wanted her mother and took her because he could but left when he was done without a second thought for his daughter. So, she was the dark spot on a perfect marriage. The reminder of the horrible crime that had been committed making Del believe if she became so great she could do anything and no one could ever touch her.

Her step father tried to love his rather wayward daughter but he couldn't relate to the cruel, ambitious girl who strived for perfection at any cost even at the cost of those around her For power meant security and the stronger she became the safer those around her were and they believed that the only thing that mattered was love.

New Arrival...

The birth of her little sister Daniella would cause her parents to give up on their older child and decide to let her go about her own devices unsure what else to do. They sent all their attention and love to her sister. A child who was much more like them. She was kinder, sweeter, and prettier than her sister. She was everything a person could want. She smiled sweetly and went along with the rules of the world around her refusing to see the bad around her she choose only to see the good.

Del was cruel to her sister trying to prove that she would snap just like everyone else but to no avail. No matter what she did to her, Daniella refused to treat her sister as anything but her friend. Del even seduced a demon that her sister came to love when she found out about him. Seeking him out on the battle field she told him Daniella didn't like him and they started a love affair that hurt her sister greatly but still she forgive her.

When it became time for them to be assigned a job. Del thought for sure she would be chosen for greatness and leave her family behind. However, she would be chosen to be a archangel and a warrior or heaven but her task was to protect her sister, who was named the Archangel of Time. The guardian of time was a special position and she was charged with keeping her safe and some would say that was an honor but she wanted more and her sister had once again out shined her. She was furious but she decided some day she would rule the world. She would rewrite it in the image she wanted and no one would stop her.

A Guardian's Path...

She protected her sister as was her duty but she was still cruel to the girl hoping to shake her confidence. Time would move on and things continued like this as Del gathered her army secretly, gaining loyalty and making deals as she went along the way. It was because of this she met him some say one of the few people she truly loved. Whether true of not she did marry him. He was a fairy an ice fairy to be exact, a part of a small clan that she stumbled upon during her travels.

Unlike others he refused to give up on the snarky young woman no matter how she tried to push him away. He saw something in her that he wanted to love and in time he broke down her resolve. They would give birth to a beautiful baby girl named Ailya. However, angels are creatures of light and heaven and fire burns in their veins in a matter of speaking. And ice fairies are creatures of winter and the biting cold. So, children born of both races are rare. Their very blood fights against itself and consumes them. Those that do survive rarely make it to adulthood without precautions and if they do they are prized by collectors because they are rare and those collectors would do anything to own them.

She understood the worth of her daughter and more than that she knew people would fight for her. So, she was going to pick her owner carefully. One that would both benefit her plans and yet at the same time allow her to stay with her parents and have some kind of a life. Someone that would be kind to the girl and yet was strong enough to protect her. She sought out that person carefully knowing that she couldn't keep her safe from everyone that might come to claim her.

Fall From Grace...

She believed she found someone who agreed to let the girl live with her mother and father until she came of age. He also offered her his army to expand her goals in taking over the very Heavens. It was a good deal. He seemed to be everything that she wanted and more. The only thing was he lied to her and he came to claim her daughter when she was born. He was also cruel and not what she had thought at all. She fought him to keep her daughter from going with him.

He was a very powerful man and she lost her wings during the battle. He tore them from her back and she still managed to wipe him out. However, she didn't want anyone to know she had a weakness because that meant people could destroy you. So, she told the world that she wanted more and he refused and she killed him but not before he took her wings.

Without her wings it would only be a matter of time before she would lose her mind. Angels without wings lose their connection to Heaven and without that connection they slowly go insane, turning into an almost ghoul state feeding off the flesh of humans with a hunger that can't be denied. She returned home to her husband and he knew what would happen. So, she tried to stay with them as long as she could trying to fight off the insanity.

They decided to lie and tell their daughter she was a human and raise her as such hoping that it would fool those that might try to collect her. If she believed she was nothing more than a mortal girl it would show in her thoughts and her beliefs and it might fool people. Del was keep locked up to protect her from herself and others from her and she would continue this way till she got so bad she knew she no longer had a choice. She had to leave her family behind.

A New Friend...

She faked her own death so that no one would come looking for her. She knew her husband loved her so much he would keep her there and keep looking no matter what. So, she left them behind using her now unstable powers she left the estate only to fall into hell. The last place that an angel like her should be. She would be food for whoever wished to claim her and she had little protection in this state.

They would make it a game to torture the angel. However, something else happened in Hell. She seemed to regain some of her clarity. It was there that she would meet a demon by the name of Zed. He would help her to gain back her sanity bit by bit fighting against the sickness. In time she would find out that he was her half brother they shared the same father, a man neither had met.

Growing closer and closer to him, he became important to her. He told her of a set of books that could do anything. He wanted to find them so he could become a full demon like his mother the only person whom had ever loved him or showed him any kindness. She didn't care why he wanted the books she wanted them to rewrite the Heavens themselves in the image that she had as child wanting to be noticed. So, she decided to help him find the books.

A Search Begins...

He said that he would give them to her after he became a demon and she believes him. And she could do what she wanted after wards. She cares not what he becomes he will always be her brother so they set out to find the books and rejoin them together once and for all and to shape the world around them. She is now closer to her goal than ever before all she has to do is believe.

In the meantime, her husband grew sick and passed away but before he died he told their daughter the truth of who and what she is setting in motion things that have yet to be seen. Her daughter has made many friends along the way friends that well keep her safe. She asked her brother to befriend her to keep an eye on her. She is suppose to be dead after all and doesn't want to do anything to disprove that until she has both books. They found one and only one is left. So, close to the goals only time will tell if they succeed or not.
